The date of these pictures is April 8, 1978 Huntsville, Alabama These pictures were taken the day after Angel played there. My most fond memory of that time happened about 30 minutes before these pictures were taken. My two girlfriends and I were in Punky's Room that morning just hanging out while he was in the bathroom getting dressed. Anyway he comes out of there perfectly coifed and dressed in a white shirt and blue jeans, but was having a problem getting his pants zipped up. So he lays down on the bed and continues to struggle for a bit. I can't remember if he asked for help or if we volunteered but we swarmed on him and on of us held the zipper together, one of us pulled the zipper up while the other one held his hand for moral support. The operation was not only a success, but the patient and surgeons enjoyed it immensely!

Everybody in ANGEL was terrifically nice, especially Punky. They just acted like regular guys. I think we found out about them by the same way that you did, via an album cover in the store. I remember Gene talking about them too, but we were "brain damaged" like you after checking them out. I wish I had more pictures of all the people we met with us. Oh well! Punky, if you ever need help again getting those pants zipped up, I will be glad to come over to your Rescue.   Jane
