The Hockey Goon Adoption Agency Rules

The Rules for the Infernal Adoption Agency are simple. If they're not followed then chances are you will not receive an Adoption from the Agency. Please read through them Carefully and then proceed with the Adoption. If you have any questions about any of the rules feel free to contact the Site Admin.

1. You can only adopt once, and NOT the entire person. Otherwise, I would have done that with Mike Ricci, and you would all be out of luck.

2. No item can be adopted more then once. Please check the Adoptees Listing that you're thinking of adopting from and make sure your item is not taken. If you see the item has been taken more then once it was by human error and should never have happened.

IF YOU DON'T TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE LIST, and your item HAS ALREADY been adopted, your application will be IGNORED. If you are too thick to follow instructions, not my fault.

3. You must supply a valid e-mail address. I send out a confirmation and if any of them get sent back I go in and I delete that adoption.

4. You can adopt almost anything but there are certain things that I will not allow to be adopted. Bad taste items will not be allowed.

5. The item that you adopt does not have to actually exist but the Player does.

6. You must supply a name. Please note that if you are using your real name you do NOT have to list your first and last name, your first name will suffice. Handles are just fine as well. Put down the name you want to be listed with your adoption.

7. You can Adopt from any Hockey Player, past or present.

8. You do not have to list two choices to adopt from but it is advised that you do so. There have been times when a person applies for adoption and the item is either taken or the item was requested by two people at the same time and I took the one that came in earliest but since there was no second choice the adoption was void and the person did not get what he/she wanted.

9. Please do not write me and ask if I got your adoption. I get quite a few adoptions at one time that I filter into an e-mail folder that I have strictly for this site. I don't actually read them until I go in to update the listings so I will not know if I got your adoption. What you do is frequently check back at the Adoptions portion of this page. Check the date of the last update and whether or not I have in fact updated the listings since you applied. If I have and you never received confirmation then please check under the Member you adopted from and see if you are there. All new adoptions are put at the bottom of the page.

10.You may list a web page for your adoptions. I view every web page before I put it up so if it is X rated or unsuitable for children it will have a disclaimer attached by me saying so.

Those are the rules. If you've finished reading them you may proceed with your adoption.
